If you are up to it, you can also play a round of tetherball or volleyball or try your hand at shoreline fishing.

Yellowstone Cabins: There are Yellowstone National park cabins for rent – these are located inside the park itself. These cabins are within walking distance of the park’s chief attractions. It also provides you with excellent opportunities to enjoy nature at its finest – breathtaking mountain top views, elks or eagles easily seen from your balcony, the cool mountain air – plus privacy for you and your family. However, you must remember to book well in advance, since Yellowstone National Park cabin rentals are usually booked and reserved for as early as six to 12 months. You should also note that a number of the cabins are not equipped with private bathrooms.

Flagg Ranch Resort: This resort is very near the south entrance of the park and sits close to the Snake River banks. The log cabin rooms have telephone service and a private bath. The resort serves meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). However, these cabins are only available during summer months.

 

Faithful Street Inn: This is comprised of nine cabins for large groups – the smallest of which sleeps six guests. The cabins are equipped with kitchens, televisions and Internet. For the smaller cabins, you are required to stay for a minimum of three nights. For the larger ones, the minimum stay will be longer.

Pine Edge Cabins: The cabins are located just one mile from the parks East Gate. This is open all year round and cabins are equipped with kitchenettes and bathrooms. Kitchenettes are equipped with stove, coffee pot and refrigerator.
