Located just outside of the entrance to West Yellowstone, Yellowstone Holiday offers affordable outdoor fun for families.
Yellowstone National Park is closed to vehicles during the wintertime due to tremendous amounts of snowfall, dangerous weather conditions and unmaintained roads. Additionally, this year the National Park Service is offering nine free visiting days, which includes January 19 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, February 14-19 President’s Day weekend, April 18-19 National Park Week’s opening weekend, August 25 National Park Service’s 99th birthday, September 26 National Public Lands Day and November 11 Veteran’s Day.
Staying offsite and outside the park is a great way to explore nearby areas. West Yellowstone campgrounds are located near the city of West Yellowstone, which offers convenient access to Yellowstone’s West Entrance.
