The annual World Snowmobile EXPO is a large exposition that highlights the upcoming year’s products, models, racing venues and even offers antique snowmobile displays. With plenty of entertainment, which includes a casino night, attendees can choose from a wide range of activities and events.
Popular snowmobile manufacturers, such as Skidoo, Arctic Cat, Yamaha and Polaris are set to unveil their popular, new and innovative products. Running March 14 through 16, 2014, this event is organized by the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce.
This event features the latest 2015-snowmobile lines, including aftermarket exhibits. Last year, the EXPO premiered a unique vintage-style racing exhibition. This exhibition includes a racecourse and expanded classes. Classes include single cylinder, stock, 440 and 340 fan cooled and 440 and 340 free air. This year the EXPO is introducing a Radar Run competition that features a straight-line 500-foot snow track that also includes a 600-foot shut down extension. All riders are eligible for this event and each winner is determined by speed. Participants are allowed two separate runs.
The EXPO also features kid-friendly events, which includes 12- complimentary snowmobile demo rides for children age three through 12. This year also offers a MWR Cross County Snowmobile event for adults 18 and older.
Known as the birthplace of modern snowmobile freestyle competitions, the annual Octane Addictions is a freestyle event that allows snowmobile experts to showcase their crazy, unique talents.
With first come, first serve demonstration rides, visitors and locals flock to this popular event, which celebrates the end of winter. This fabulous weekend event is designed for families, adults and couples alike. For guests looking to participate in events, always remember to bring safety gear, as this is required. This event also highlights a “People’s Choice” and “Best of Show.”
