Fun Activities for the Whole Family at Yellowstone Holiday

Yellowstone Holiday is located on the breathtaking Hebgen Lake. We are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day with cozy cabins as well as a lovely RV park. We are only 15 minutes from Yellowstone National Park, making us a very convenient location for your family’s next vacation.

Yellowstone Holiday is the perfect base camp for your family to explore the amazing beauty of the Yellowstone National Park. And Hebgen Lake is the perfect place for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Whether you’re a novice fisherman or a pro, you will love the fly fishing there. It’s not unusual for fishermen to pull 14 to 18 inch trout from Hebgen Lake. There is also a lovely beach area where you can go swimming or relax in the sun.

At Yellowstone Holiday, it’s pretty common to see grizzly bears and gray wolves in their natural environment. This can be fun and educational for the whole family. Surrounded by approximately 3,500 square miles of mountains, canyons, lakes and rivers, you’ll never run out of exhilarating outdoor activities at our Yellowstone campground. You’ll see literally hundreds of wildlife species, including endangered animals.

Yellowstone Holiday has 36 big-rig RV sites and 24 cozy west Yellowstone cabins where you’ll enjoy all the comforts of home. Our accommodations are within walking distance ofthe lakeshore with panoramic views of Mt. Hebgen and the surrounding forest. This makes for a spectacular backdrop for your fun, relaxing vacation.  We are right in the middle of a thousand miles of hiking trails where you can go walking or even biking.

In addition to the world-class fishing, at Yellowstone Holiday, we provide plenty of other water sports, as well as volleyball, tetherball, and horseshoes. These fun activities are available to you right outside your door. Nearby, you will find a variety of great places to rent a bike or take a horseback ride around the lake. Visitors often enjoy exploring Quake Lake, which was created in 1959 by the strongest earthquake ever recorded in Montana history.

Historic Virginia City, an Old West gold mining town that has been “frozen in time” is also a short distance from Yellowstone Holiday. Less than an hour away, you’ll find towns where can enjoy a leisurely lunch and go shopping for souvenirs.
